My brother has been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. Now he has been admitted to the hospital for a possible stroke. Many of the symptoms are so similar I am wondering if it is a stroke or just another symptom of the Myasthenia Gravis.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

  • I have myasthenia gravis, and then recently have had episodes of facial tingling and thought it was a stroke but it is not only in one side of my face it is in my whole face and I don't have muscle weakness it's more like muscle contractions. I went to the hospital and they ruled out stroke and chalked it up to a weird symptom of myasthenia gravis, but I then talked to other doctors who said this is not the case. Myasthenia does not have those symptoms and now I'm unsure of what to do
