Firstly, I'd like to say what a fantastic website this is for people with similar problems to come and share they're experiences with each other.
Anyway, this is quite a long post but i really hope somebody reading can give me some advice on what i might have or what i should do next!
About 4 years ago I got a really bad cold (sore throat, fever, headache, sickness etc) which lasted for about 3 weeks & to be honest i've never seemed to have fully recovered from then & strange symptoms since then have been developing & seem to be getting worse & more frequent.
The main symptoms I've been suffering from are:-
*Numbness & discomfort in the forehead area.
*Seeing bright, flashing lights when i sneeze.
*Seeing floaters (only in the light).
*Dizzy spells & blurred vision.
*Consistently coughing up phlegm (varies in colour, normally thicker in the morning after waking up).
*Shortness of breath.
*Chest pains, muscle and joint pains.
*Severe abdomen pain and discomfort. The pain varies in strength but discomfort always there.
*Extreme tiredness & fatigue for no apparent reason.
*Frequent pins and needles & dead arms.
As you can see there are quite a few varied symptoms there, not all of them happen at once but i'm always suffering from at least 3 or 4 on a daily basis. I'm struggling to work out if they're all linked to something or whether im suffering from multiple things!
I've had countless tests done - 4 HIV tests (I've been told by 2 Doctors now that I definitely don't have HIV as it would have shown up).
I've also been tested for Hepititis, Glandular Fever, Full Blood Counts, Anti Body Counts, Chest X-rays, Liver & Kidney functioning tests & EVERYTHING has come back normal.
I'm now stuck in a depressive rut & starting to feel like i'm a nuisance to my Doctors as now they just keep giving me anti-biotics (these help very little) and now they don't seem to have much interest in finding out whats wrong with me.
I'm in my mid 20's and getting frustrated that i can't move on with my life as i don't know whats wrong with me and i'm too ill to make many future plans as i never know how i'll feel in the next day, 2 days, week etc.
If somebody could give me any advice at all it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much.
