I had a stiff neck for about a week or so , then it went away. Then one day as i was sitting at my pc i noticed a burning sensation in my right upper thigh. At first i didnt know what it was but after i noticed when i moved my neck a certain way that my leg would burn. Ive taken antiinflammatorys but nothing has worked. I went to the Doctor and got x rays but havnt got the results back yet. Now the other night my heart felt like it was raceing, and i was jittery all over. I went to the emergency room, and they did all the test and ruled out anything cardiac related. Now i just feel really anxious, not sure whats going on with me. I feel as if im not in total control of my body, its like sometimes for a spit second that im losing control. Hope you can help.

  • It could be a matter of egonomics. Do you sit in front of a PC all day? Unless you are sitting correctly, with proper PC placement, this could be a work related injury. Your company can bring in a state ergonomic specialist to evaluate the situation if you want to report this as a work related injury. It could be a pinched nerve in your neck and maybe a chiropractor could help you. Ask around for a good one because they are not all the same.Other possibilities could be a passing virus or the beginnings of shingles. Did this happen a couple of weeks after sex? As far as your heart: it sounds like you are panicking now. The ER does not check for everything with the heart. You should see a cardiologist for further testing, such as a stress test.I think it's job related, all in all.

  • My job actually has nothing to do with sitting in front of a PC all day, I just happend to notice it while i was sat in front of my home pc. Its hard to explain the feeling, just feels like overall unsteadyness, but not dizzy or anything like that. Even a bit of Nausea now and then. I do have a stress test scheduled. I think its possible Spinal Stenous, it does run in the family.

  • Turns out i got a degenerative disc in my neck, and the heart stuff was all due to anxiety lol. I feel good now, funny thing is it scared me into working out again.

  • And even more reason to watch your posture and/or ergonomics! :)
