Hello, I'm new to this site and here on behalf of my best friend. She's been going through these pains for over 4 months now and they're progressively getting worse. She lives in Canada, and me in the US. I'm not knocking Canadian doctors, but she has been to quite a few and none have correctly diagnosed or fixed the problem. So I'm trying to get her help any way possible. I asked her to send me a list of symptoms and this is what I received..

Very Stiff Joints
Lump in wrist
No movement at times in both wrists. Can't put any weight on it.
Wrists are so sore sometimes she cant even touch them.
Can't fully open left hand or close it. Hurts to even relax it.
Bone under pointer finger is very sore. Can't fully bend it.
Feels like hands are on fire at times.
Part under thumb (on her palm) gets hard as a rock.
Can't walk straight/normal in the morning.
Pain is much worse in the morning and at night.

So as you can see it's mostly hand/finger/wrist pain but she has problems with her feet as well. The doctors she has been to gave her insoles for her shoes which are suppose to help with her feet. It was pretty much a band-aid fix and now they've been rendered practically useless. Also the doctors told her she has tendinitis. She's done research on her own and said she thinks it could be Raynuad's Syndrome. If anyone believes it could be that, what are the treatments/cures for that syndrome/disease if any? Honestly, any kind of help on this situation would be much appreciated. She's in an immense amount of pain and just looking for answers as soon as possible. Thanks a million to anyone in advance who can help.

  • Tell her doctors to test her Vitamin levels especially vitamin D. Im almost betting that shes low on vitamin D. I also had suffered from VERY bad joint pains and throbs deeply in my arms and legs. Hurt so much. Tell her to do finger exercises and to take vitamin D. I take 1,000 IU. Should watch the documentary by Abram Hoffer, MD, PhD, and Andrew W. Saul, PhD. Im reading their book Orthomolecular Medicine for Everyone. L) They are helpful for natural healing and what not. Its amazing to know that beig low on vitamins REALLy causes terrible aches. Im glad I know now than sooner because it is an easier fix than I thought. Slowly healed but man.... its amazing PLEASE LOOK INTO IT!!!! Good luck. And how sweet of you to post for her.

  • symptoms sound very much like a friend of mine,,and his is gout, yes gout, raynaud's you would expect to see white fingers, then red or blue as its a blood vessel problem ,if it is, then infrared gloves would help, keep in touch, colin PS self diagnosis can be dangerous ,but i know why we do it,
