  • You say that you HAD this. Does that mean that you don't have it anymore? If so,I'd be interested to know how it went away. I've have read these reports but it still seems to be a mystery, at least as far as cause or treatment. Even doctors don't know much about it.Yes, heard of it! I've have read these reports but it still seems to be a mystery, at least as far as cause or treatment. Even doctors don't know much about it.I had it all over my body, it gradually ot better, it took about 2 years. I don´t know, but I used alot of supplements, minerals, vit-c, e, zink, flaxseedoil etc, removed milk from my diet and ate good stuff, alot of biodynamic veggies and fruits, stayed away from anything with additives, junk foods, drank lots and lots of water etc....with the intension of detoxifying.I think all of this helped the body resolve it, though the skin never got as it was before the stickyness, it was very much better. I could not use lotion etc for these two years, it made the stickyness worse and did not absorb....but the summer I got better,i started using a rose oil (a really thin oil) (filled with nutrients and etheric oils etc) from weleda, a brand of eco-products from germany...I think this oil was rejvenating, and when the skin had begun getting a little bit better already, this oil seemed to speed the process...I however have had two relapses, on lasted six weeks, it reappeared suddenly, woke up one morning, hands all sticky, it was really persistens then disappeared from the hands after about six weeks... boy was I relieved, since I was reall nervous it would spread to the whole body like the first time. Washed my hands separatly and frecuently, did not touch the rest of the body without gloves on, for these weeks...Now i have it again, hands and feet.... for ten months :( no improvement, check out my post on empowher, "kacha".Good luck in solving this, please keep posting anything new!

  • Thanks for posting a reply. It sounds like we have the same thing. Interesting that with this re-occurrence your stickiness seems to be more localized - I hadn't heard that before. My whole body is sticky when damp. And I haven't had the other problems that you mention - I don't know yet what will happen in time, it's only been two months. I only eat organic food and nothing processed, almost no sugar, but I do drink raw milk. Thanks for referring me to Empowher - I read your message there and also posted my story (mahniah). I also read about blood root there - have you ever tried that, or know anything about it? I'm gonna look into rose oil, hadn't heard of that before. I've tried aloe vera, which helps with all kinds of skin things, but it didn't help. Yes, let's stay in touch.

WATER STICKS TO SKIN. and it sticks to most other stuff too. for instance, pour a glass of water, then dump the water out. there will still be some water stuck to the inside of the glass because water sticks. now, go watch this video about liquid mercury: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oL0M_6bfzkU. Mercury doesnt stick to the glass because it isnt abrasive like water. honestly how do people not know that water sticks?

  • I've had this condition, too, over the years.... I thought I was ....well, it didn't seem like the healthiest condition to have.... along with the fact that that my "sticky skin", or acquired cutaneous syndrome was occuring in my groin, between my scrotum and my upper thigh.... sometimes one side only, sometimes BOTH sides..... uuugghh!!I was researching this problem AGAIN recently after I had had a major bunch of antibiotic therapy prior to a prostate biopsy... which regimen may or may NOT have brought it on again.I finally was standing in the shower today, looked over and saw the bottle of Selsun Blue shampoo, with a chemical called selenium sulfide as its active incredient...oddly enough I had tried washing the area daily with this shampoo before, and voila, the condition subsided and usually stays away for months or years at a time now!I don't know if ANYONE wil benefit from this posting, but, by gosh, I wished I'd read about this somewhere, sometime ago!To better health!
