A week ago now i had unprotected sex for my first time with a girl i hardly knew. Not the best decision on my part because soon afterwards i had found out she had multiple sexual partners before me. I'm really worried about STI's and i think the right thing to do would be to get checked out, but i really don't want my parents to know. Is there any way i can get a check-up without them knowing?

  • HI Im a nurse, and I think you should definately be checked out. Your parents do not have to know you we're seen. Privacy laws state you can be seen without their knowledge or consent for any problem relating to STD's. Walk in to a local Urgent Care or check your area for public health clinic's. Good Luck
