6 weeks ago I had unprotected oral sex both ways. I then presented with irritation in my penis/groin 4 days later. After 11 days I visited the GUM clinic, was tested for everything(all -ve) but as pus cells present given 4 tabs of Azithromycin taken in one go. I went back after a few days as I still had a lot of irritation. They took samples and told me to come back at 2 weeks. Second lot of results were also -ve. By this time I felt better, but still had some pus cells present. I was then given a weeks course of Doxcycyline(i had to avoid sunlight). I went back this week for re-check (now 6 weeks since exposure). Since the weekend I have noticed irritation has worsened. The quick check showed pus cells still even though all tests have been -ve. They put me on a weeks course of Azithromycin (2 tabs day 1, 1 tab for 6 days & Metronidalzole 1 tab 2x day 7days. 3 days in still no improvement and im on 2 weeks hol. I can drink alcohol or have sex. Miserable and worried - whats wrong
