My 15 year old son's sternum is growing abnormally. There is no pain involved or discomfort for him. The bones are starting to pertrude outward and you can see the skin is quite tight. It would cover an area of 5 cm's and is an oval shape. Exrays have been done with no breaks or fractures and his heart and lungs are all ok. Doctor was honest and said he has no idea as to why this has happened or what is wrong. Seeing a specialist in October (the earliest appointment we could get). Any clues?:confused:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
