Very long...but PLEASE READ: I've been searching for answers for nearly two years now. My story is this: May 2009, I was with a *********e (at a massage parlor)...I wore a condom the entire time -even during oral. Anyway, approximately a week went by and I woke up one day with a Chancre sore (almost looked like a small rug burn) close to the base of my penis, where is meets the stomach (wear the bottom of a condom might end on the penis). I immediately went to my doctor who told me that he thought it was HSV2 (as he said "Syphilis was not common"). He gave me a 10day dosage of an antibiotics, counseled me on having HSV2, and sent me on my way. I was tested that same day for all STDs, etc. -all returned Negative. He told me to wait 4-6mths before being tested again due to HSV2 antibodies needing to gather/build in my system, and therefore being able to be detected in bloodwork. So I waited the 4-6mths, during this time, I experienced itching in the tip of the urethra, burning in the Urethra (not during urination...just in general), and small rashes on the tip of my penis and shaft which would come a day or so after ejaculation. Six months later, I tested for all STDs again. Keep in mind, I had NO sexual contact with women during this period...did not date AT ALL. All bloodwork and Urinalysis came back Negative. My doctor then tries to tell me that I had nothing and that I was "wasting his time". I went to a Dermatologist who I actually allowed to due a biopsy on the small rash -YES, I allowed him to take a small piece of flesh from the head of my penis...AS I WAS DESPERATE FOR ANSWERS! The biopsy results came back as "skin irritation" and he told me to stop worrying and get back to having sex! -What the ??? I went to another PCP who took more bloodwork, urinalysis...all coming back Negative. She sent me to a Urologist, who did a Cystoscopy and Prostate exam. My Prostate seemed normal and the Cystoscopy showed some irritation of the Ureter and bladder. He told me that he thought I had Interstitial Cystitis, gave me a pamphlet on the condition, a two week dosage of antibiotics and sent me on my way. About a month later, I began to have the abdominal pain, itching and burning in both the inner tip of the penis and burning in the Urethra again. -it actually feels as though I have a small straw inserted in my penis...that's seriously how it feels. I also have a small blister (or small round/oval inflammation) on each side of the opening of the Urethra. I pointed them out to the Urologist who said that it was just a deformity. WELL I KNOW MY PENIS AND I HAVE NEVER HAD THEM BEFORE!!! Since that time (about 7mths ago), I have been to an Infectious Disease Specialist who had NO answers for me...and have another appointment scheduled with the same Urologist is April. I have spent countless hours researching online. Just recently I came across the symptoms for Genital Thrush (which also can be sexually transmitted)...the symptoms mimic those of HSV2, etc. I have bought a dose of Monistat (per the online recommendation) which seems to be helping with the blister type formations (they seem to be going away). However, I still have the abdominal pain and at the moment it feels as though a small tick tack (or straw) is inserted in my penis. THIS REALLY S*CKS...and I really want answers. If anyone has experienced these same symptoms or knows what the problem/diagnosis might be, PLEASE respond ASAP. Thanks for taking the time to read this really long post. Just to add to this: I have not dated at all since this started (nearly 2yrs ago). Again, I am very desperate for answers...as I don't know how much longer I can deal with this. (by now, I've had full bloodwork and full Urinalysis done 4 times).Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
