My boyfriend has recently been diagnosed with NF, he's still in hospital but is finally on the mend after having a pretty awful time.
I have read online that NF isn't normally contagious but can be in certain circumstances with very close contact.
I'm feeling pretty run down, i'm losing my appetite and i'm tired all the time, but i've put it down to stress with worrying over my boyfriend and trying to juggle university. Recently i've developed a sore throat, and earlier I noticed a very small swollen lump on my arm and it's made me start to panic. It looks similar to after you have a needle in your arm, the lump is very small, but really sore to touch. It may well be a bite of some kind. But i'm just wondering whether because of my boyfriends circumstances I should get it checked out?
