New to the forum, but would greatly appreciate any advice from people with medical knowledge. I feel down a flight of stairs yesterday morning. My back absorbed most of the initial impact, and it appears fine. But when I feel my feet kicked out in front of me, and one of them went right through a strudy wooden spindle knockingit out of place. It was painful, but I was able to walk with a limp yesterday. For context, it was the upper part of the bottom of my foot that hit (the ball of foot near the toes), and I went directly into the edge of the spindle, hitting at a painful angle, as opposed to straight on. This morning I noticed two of my middle toes were bruised on the top side. They did not have direct contact with the spindle, and my ankle is starting to bother me extending up my leg. Is this something I need to have xrayed, or should I give it some time to see if things take care of themselves?
Thanks for help!
