20+yo, european male, sore throat lasting for 5 months.
my doctor can't solve this case.

-red throat
-white grains with unpleasant odour in throat
-short-time memory failure (very annoying)
-little decreased temperature, 95.5-97.8F, no fever
-swollen and 10x20mm lymph nodes on the neck
-double vison on the nigth when driving car fast, sometimes on the day
-bit increased resistance to pain
-bit depressed(SSRI doesn't help)
-rarely mild haemoptysis at least once/month
-diharea(at least twice/week), dizzines(all the time), and vomiting(rare) (may be caused by step infection?)

Blood sample results:
-decreased WBC level 3.3 (4-10M is normal)
-decreased neutrophil level 1.3-1.6 (2-7M is normal) - mild neutropenia
-lyme disease antibodies IGG+ IGM - (ELISA tests, so it could be fake)
-toxsoplasmosis gondi IGG+ IGM -
-TSH, OB, electolites, full blood and urine tests are OK

results of inoculation of the throat:
-Strep G infection positive - (amoxicillin2000mg/day and bioparox antibiotics doesn't help)

other disasters and medical history:
-low dose of chlorine gas exposure month before illnes(only small bleeding from nose for one day)
-little signs of mold(black dots on walls) in job place, but air tests shows nothing.
-2 surgery in last 2 years(no signs of Blood Borne Infections)
-mild clinical depression last year -full recovery (I hope so) 200mg sertraline/day for half a year
-severe throat infections at least 2 times a year
-severe food toxination last year

any ideas?

  • Hi there...I can only offer some advice for a few of the symptoms... Sore throat and white odorous grains....look up tonsil stones...they are bacteria that get caught in the pocket next to your tonsils. You can remove them by finding them with a mirror and flashlight, and pushing them out with a long Qtip. The dizziness can be related to your vestibular nerve...look online....you can go to an ENT, and they can help you with vestibular rehab therapy... Hope this helps
