Recently, i've been having pain down my throat, which feels as though all the way down to my lung area is bruised, and if i hold my breath it makes a clicking sound.
The pain is not actually near my mouth, it starts near my voicebox. This is alongside neck aching to the point where i can't move my head. Any ideas what this could be?

  • I think you need neck xrays (AP and Lateral) and someone to look down your trachea with a bronchoscope. Is the pain as if someone had his hand around your throat and was squeezing it? Also maybe thyroid problems. Is the pain below your adam's apple? Have you inhaled anything unusual?
