Almost a month back I got a sharp piece of pop-corn stuck in my right side of gum between two teeth. Over a weeks time the gum got healed and was fine until one day I accidentally hurt it while brushing ( i think the gum hadn't healed completely). It bled profusely. The next day again, while I was brushing I nudged the gum with the tooth brush and my gum bled again. After that I was careful to not brush on that particular teeth. I have a sore gum now, which has swollen and come between my two teeth. The tip of the swollen gum looks red, is very tender and this morning I could feel some pain too. The rest of my mouth is perfectly okay. Could anyone let me know if this is just one of the usual gum sores which would heal or if there are some over the counter drugs that I can use to cure it. I do not want to see the dentist if the situation is not alarming.
thank you in advance.
