I am 5.9' 140lbs 35 yr old female. Completely healthy my whole life. I was never one to get sick even with a cold.
It all started in Oct 07 with a rash. I visited the doctor and she gave me some medicine. It never went away and within 2 weeks I became short of breath and fatigued. I went back to the ER and they said I had the flu and sent me home with meds. After lying in bed feeling like dieing for about a week, I went back to the doctor. By now my feet and hands are extremely swollen and turning white. And I am so sore all over my whole body, that I can bearly move. I can not even bend over and tie my own shoes.
From there they tested me for everything under the sun and no diagnoses. Still sick I went to a arthritis doctor & to an infestious disease doctor and they figured out that I have rynauds disease (that explains my hands & feet). they have tested me for Lupus but do not think that is it. They said maybe the beginning stages but they could not say that is what is going on.
Still not understanding everything that was going on. The doctors scheduled me an appt at UAB (University of Birmingham). They said that I could have Vasculous disease but was not for sure. I have another appt next week. They have me on many different drugs but none are working.
Still confused, here are the symptoms I have had and still live with each day.
Extreme fatigue, muscle pain that is the worst ever (hard to get out of bed), feet and hands extremely swollen, my toes and fingers turn black due to lack of oxygen, I feel like I am dieing every day.http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/images/icons/icon8.gif
