I am a 17 year old male and I am pretty healthy. I have had this condition for as long as I can remember. My syptoms are brief muscle contractions that involve one side of my body at a time or both sides. They are all the way from my toes to my face. The contractions are induced usually by quick sudden movements and the muscles contract for 5-10 seconds. It happens about 5-10 times a day but some days its worse and some its better.I can also relax my body and try to percieve some weird sensation and the contractions happen then too. If i stay active that helps very much because its usually when i sit for awhile and get up or do something very fast. after i have the contractions i wont have another one usually for atleast an hour but sometimes on bad days it can happen.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
