I haven't been to a doctor due to pressing issues and time constraints, but I thought that I may get some idea here first, so...my age is 20, and I'm a female.

Ever since I was young, I was able to hear and feel my heartbeat at times. I could tell it was a little out of ordinary, since it was kind of loud and strong. Sometimes it's softer, but most times loud. Like I could feel it pounding against my chest and ringing in my ears. I could even see my shirt moving up and down. It happens when I get high strung by events, but there are plenty other times when it just happens without a reason. Alongside that, I've difficulty breathing. Not all the time when it was pounding, but it happens.

And now, for the past week or two, it's happening daily. I suspect it's because of recent events that took a lot of emotional turmoil and stress on me that went on for literally weeks, but things are sort of calming down now. Things are not totally okay yet, but they are getting okay. Yet, I still feel it pounding loudly. It's also difficult to breathe at times, and my hands won't stop trembling. My vision would also blur just a bit when I try to focus on something (I've had this for a couple months), and I wasn't sure if it's just my eyesight getting bad or something.

So is this all just effects from stress and emotions or could I possibly be suffering from something? Some days I feel as if I'm over-reacting, other days I'm suspicious if I have some heart disease of sort...

Opinions would be wonderful. Thanks. :)

  • I am not a doctorHowever, in my opinion, being able to feel your heart beat is normal. I can sit still and see my heart move my chest, like right now even. You also may be unwinding from the recent events in your life, your body tends to unwind like that, after carrying some hard burden for a while.I suggest going to see a Doc about your eye focus, it may be that you need glasses because your eyes get tired.my two cents, hope it helps.
