small red lump on areola

I have a red, 2mm lump on the left areola. There is no discharge, and it is only mildly tender. From what I've read, it's most likely not cancer. Any ideas what it could be?

  • i have the exact same thing and I've searched everywhere to see what it could be and I'm lost....... it is bigger than the rest of them and it is somewhat sore. if i figure any thing out, I'll let you know!
