Okay so a couple of weeks ago i came down with the flu, like the runny blocked nose and the sore throat and what not. The flu has now pretty much passed except for the phlegm in my throat which is still hanging around. About a week ago I was looking in my throat and noticed that there was an unusual, very small lump on my right tonsil. The lump is oval shaped and is about half a centimeter in diameter. It does not cause any discomfort and I cannot feel it in my mouth at all. Its just there. I went to the doctor and he thinks I have a throat infection and that is why the lump is there. I was given antibiotics and Ive just about finished the pack but the lump has not changed. I cannot find a diagnosis for what this is. I still currently have a minor phlegmy throat, just enough that I have to clear it frequently and the lump is still there. I am 17 years old and have smoked at a couple of parties recently but that is it. Any ideas on what this could be?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
