Hi there,

I just recently developed a small (about a dime size) pink rash on my lower stomach (by my hip bone) area. I think its actually growing very slightly bigger. Its been there for about a week now, and each day seems to get dryer and sorta scaley...it doesn't hurt, itch, nor is it sensitive. Just seems like a pink dry spot, and just noticed a few days ago that another small mark developed just below one of my left ribs (below breast area) and a small patch to the right of my chin.

I don't know if they are they same rashes or if it's a different one on my chin..but its really making me nervous. I am pretty healthy 24 yr old female, haven't done anything new to cause this..and not allergic to anything (never even had rash or skin problems) do you know what it could be and how to get rid of them??? or If its serious? I went to the docs...and she said its nothing and not to worry about it....but I feel that something is up because this has never happened. its odd to just have one small spot on my lower stomach... Please help! :)

  • HI, I am also pretty healthy and never really had a skin condition before that I can remember. I am 26 with one child and recently started on MIRENA. My condition sounds vey similar to yours. I started with a red round dime size rash on my left hip that was very dry. About two weeks later it turned darker and became dryer and is now the size of a quarter. There are now about 10 more of these little round red very dry spots under, inbetween and on the side of my breast. About 5 on my upper abdomen and one on my neck. I am making an appointment with my doctor after christmas to see whats going on, and if you like Ill take a list of everthing possible that is close to what this could be.
