Hello. I'm going to start at the beginning... I had my daughter at 38 weeks. She weighed 5lbs 1 oz and was 17 1/2 inches long and dropped down to 4 lbs 11oz in the firrst day. She started to regain her weight when she was 2 days old. Since then she has NEVER lost weight! She was back up to her birth weight by 12 days after birth... Since then I have had nothing but problems with the doctors... I planned on nursing my child but the doctors wanted me to supplement, which didn't make a difference in her weight gain. She spent 10 days on only formula and gained less than what she had been gaining while she was nursed. She was only breastfed until she was 7 months old. Then she started to get one solid a day in the morning and that was 2.5oz. She now is a year old, eats solids three times a day with snacks all day. She still also nurses about 8 times a day including once in the middle of the night. The doctors are worried because she only weighs 15 lbs now and is 28 inches long. No one can tell me that there is something wrong with her.. .we have had blood work done and everything comes back just fine. Could it be that she is just tiny?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
