I have just moved-and this has happened before I have been told due to early trauma in my environment-and when I am exposed to a new environment I have a terrible time adjusting and it displays itself ultimately in sleep. I wake up all night long in a kind of like a startle. I fall asleep easily because I am so exhausted at this point. I have slept for a long time fine but I had an old prescription for Trazadone so I have taken it and am now up to 100 mg and I have some clonazepam I can take with it as well-no response at all! So, I am not sure what to do at this point-when I am in a state like this I can override any med it seems-I am thinking about trying the most powerful natural sleep aid called Power Sleep? I am very grateful for any ideas you may have-oh, and I have a paradoxical response to sleep meds-I one time went so long without sleep that I completely broke down-so I am very concerned that I am in this pattern-it is very dangerous to stay in-need to get ahold of this now-and yes, I am going to talk to a counselor as well about this response I have and finally really work on this trauma that gets triggered during change in environment.
