For the last few days I've had this inexplicably painful skin on the right side of my scalp and down the side of the face, including my right eye. This has happened before but somehow this time it seems more pronounced and very unpleasant and bothersome. The pain is only on the right side and mostly superficial.
I am a male of 42, otherwise healthy and in "mint condition", so this is quite unusual and worries me a bit (supposedly this is the age when serious problems start).
If anyone has any information on similar symptom or has had the same condition and has been diagnosed, please share. Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you all

  • I have had simialar symptoms. The pain started as skin pain then escalated to ear, teeth, temple, jaw pain. It took about 6 years and alot of doctors to finally be diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia by a neurologist. It may not be what you have but it doesnt hurt to ask a doctor. Many doctors overlook this condition because it is not common

  • Sounds like it could be precurser to a Shingles outbreak or it could be Tregeminal neuralgia or a type of Migraine headache.
