i'm a 19 year old female...and have a skin darkness on one **m cheek that covers a bit of my upper thigh and lower back. i am dark skin (brown)..and the skin darkness on my **m is more like a darker brown, very visible. I think i got it when i was 11 or 12 years old. ive never checked it up cos i was too scared it might be linked with cancer or some other unpleasant disease. does anyone have any idea what it could be? it doesnt hurt at all...i'm thinking its just a pigmentation thing, but then i do wonder why it only came about when i was 12?...any suggestions. thanks

  • I agree that it might be cafe-au-lait spots. This is caused by a genetic disease. You need to see a doctor.
