Hi

In November last year I woke up one night absolutely burning up but no temperature - I felt horrible - went to doctors and nothing obvious

Over the following few days my face and neck would burn but no redness or sweating - it only felt hot to me - my husband said my skin felt normal

My feet also started to burn even though I have always had cold feet

Over the last few months it has come and gone and I have had lots of bloods etc done.

When it does come on I feel awful - dizzy, nauseous and weak

The weird thing is it only comes on now if I sit around for more than an hour during the day - evenings I can sit and it's fine.

As long as I am active during the day I seem to be ok but as soon as I sit about i start to burn up

Weird or what! Doctor thinks it's in my head but I find that ridiculous

Initially they thought it was a sinus infection and I had several courses of antibiotics which made no difference - just left me with a yellow tongue and raised taste buds

They also allergy tested and I am allergic to my horse apparently but my husband looked after her for a couple of weeks and i was no better

I have been around horses for 30 years so cannot see it as an issue - I don't get any symptoms when I'm around her and antihistamines don't help - they did seem to calm it down initially but not now

Any ideas?

  • Hi!How long did you say this has been going on? Have you started taking niacin by any chance? Do you have diabetes? I don't believe this is in your head....it's in your body ;)...right?....right! What are all parts of your body that gets this hot feeling and do they all come at the same time, or do you get them in different parts of your body at different times? When they did all of your blood tests did they do an A1C? or PTH & PTT tests? Have you started any new vitamins, even if it's been a few months, or any other meds from your doc?I'll be waiting for your response. Also, do you have any other symptoms at all?Sincerely,Sileena
