i'm 20 years old and i just recently recovered from a nasty flu and all of a sudden i experienced simultaneous feelings of pins and needles on both my hands. I find this rather strange. it's not painful, just bothersome when you're doing something, this distracts you from your work. today's the 3rd day or so. When i worked in the hospital this morning, i noticed that it almost disappeared when i was inside the a cold room.
Like, i only experienced it once in 5 or 6 hours. but when i got out and my hands sorta adjusted to the warmer temperature, the tingling started again. they come and go every 5-15 minutes or so and lasts for about a second. It doesn't matter what position they're in.
should i be worried? because when i looked around the net for the past 3 days, all they kept saying were conditions regarding diabetes, heart related problems, and carpal tunnel. I tried to elicit the signs for carpal tunnel, both phalen's and tinel's were negative.
