hi am 42, weigh 55kg get long bone pain-legs and arms and
get facial bone pain between 3-8/10 severity and feeling of "not being right"
ears seem to get sensitive to noise "pounding type" feeling
also sometimes get rib bone pain and right sided chest pain
these symptoms have been happening in phases which have increased in severity and frequency over last 4-5 yrs
this past month i also had a very bad couple of weeks where i was very vague and that is so unlike who i am
they wake me in middle of night and i end up in tears
i dont get to sleep well as you can imagine so i try to stay up later to stop being woken from the pain
i take panadeine 15 when i cannot cope but dont like to - this numbs it a tad but not gone
i have suffered from arthritic type joint pain with no swelling for as long as i can remember, i do not tolerate the cold weather at all and suffer worse then
chest xray showed only mild hyperinflation (i smoke)
bld results showed 20 for rh screen but this is not untoward
does anyone else suffer like this
i would be interested to hear other views
am tired of being in almost constant pain and being treated like some hypochondriac because they cant find anything wrong
and the dr says i think your depressed - i wonder bloody why

  • Ask for calcium, potassium, vit. D (needs to be taken early in the morning on an empty stomach), and PTH. If calcium or vit D tests come back out of range DO NOT start taking replacements until you are sure of the cause. Replacements can mask the cause and you will still be having problems. You should also ask for IgM-RF and IgA-RF and ANA for the arthritis type pain. You are welcome to post any results you get here and I will look at them for you... Kiera

  • If you had parvo then it is very likely that you have reactive arthritis also called reiters syndrome. There is a well known link betewen the two., Reactive arthritis is one of five types of arthrtis known as spondylitis. Hope this helps you out! Kiera
