My daughter and I have had the same symptoms for weeks now and no doctor so far can tell us whats wrong. Our symptoms are....headache,dizziness,weakness,swollen esophagus, burning stomach, nausea, stomach cramps, abnormal bowel movements, ringing in the ears. Now I know that none of these sound like they go together, but I promise you that they started at the same time. My daughter is 10yrs old and they have run blood tests, mono tests, strep tests, ct scans, abdominal xrays and stool specimens and everything comes back negative. She has been given antibiotics and antacid medications, nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas??

  • http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/t/tinnitus/causes.htm#underlyconditionsThe most unusual thing I can pick out is the tinnitus (ringing in the ears), so if I were you, I would check out all of the things that can cause tinnitus in people who live in the same environment, namely some sort of allergy or toxin in the home. Ask for an allergy test and toxicology screening for both of you! Certain heavy metals have been linked to tinnitus (heavy metal poisoning could certainly explain the other symptoms), and carbon monoxide poisoning has been linked to it as well (which would also explain the dizziness/headaches - do you have a carbon monoxide detector in your home?). Hope I pointed you in the right direction...
