Of first of all I just want to say that I'm coming here as I live in a rather isolated area, and although I will be seeing a doctor asap that can take me upwards of a month to get in. (unless I go to the emergency room in the nearest hospital that is 2.5 hours drive away, and I dont think this is that urgent.)
I woke up a few days ago with a "dead arm", I thought it may have just been the way I slept on it and gave it no further notice, until the sensation didnt go away, it lessened but through the course of the day it was still there. Upon feeling around my shoulder/neck area I found that it was VERY sensitive at the base of the neck.
If I had to describe what would do this to me/how it feels, it feels like someone went to hit me with a downward baseball bat swing, missed my head, but got me on the neck side of the collar bone.
The pain and sensation dont bother me all that much until I try to sleep, in the past 3 days I've had probably 4 hours sleep and I'm starting to get effected by the 'exhaustion' that comes with that.
if anyone has any ideas as to what this is or how to relieve the symptoms I'd love to hear them.
