A few months ago i was having quite bad chest pain - After a while i decided to go to A + E to have a check up. I had a blood test, 2 ECG's and a chest scan - After waiting for a few hours they let me leave and said there was nothing wrong with me
For a while after this the pain went away and i felt gradually better. This was until i started to get out of breath upon the slightest exercise. Even walking up the stairs affects me. I was a smoker for 10 years at this point and decided to quit because i was so scared - This was 6 weeks ago and since then ive started to feel even worse
I get a breathless sensation even upon resting, experience periods of severe lightheadedness, sometimes experience chest pain after walking a certain distance
I went to my doctor and they listened to my chest and after listening to my symptoms decided it might be Asthma, so i was prescribed a ventolin inhaler. When i first started using this the sensations started to leave me, but recently again they have come back even stronger than before. I am convinced that it is not Asthma, and i am terrified because of my previous past as a smoker
I am a 30 year old in reasonable physical shape.
Has anybody else experienced symptoms like this or anything similar? Its getting to the point now where i am getting realy depressed about it and it's starting to affect my work :(
