For about two months now I have been having sharp stomach pain that seems to start right under my chest. The pain comes and goes in waves, its a sharp stabbing pain. I dont have a gallbladder anymore so I know its not that and the doctors have ran many tests and cant seem to find out whats wrong. But one strange thing that happened is that a nurse pulled me aside and said I was peeing white blood cells but not to say anything because the doctor didnt think it was relevant to my pain. Why would the doctor keep something from me? And do they know some thing they aren't telling me? do they have the right to keep something from me?

  • do they know some thing they aren't telling me? do they have the right to keep something from me?Doctors sometimes do keep things from patients. In your case, it maybe just because the doctor thinks it is irrelevant.Doctors are human beings, and do all of the same type of things that other human beings do. They don't always know what is causing symptoms. The normally make the best judgments they can, but sometimes they are wrong. Just like everyone else. From what you have said, it is not possible to say what is causing your pain. You could think about whether there is anything which triggers it. For example, is it after eating, after exercise, or when you are in a certain position, etc. That may give you some clues. If you don't get any joy with this doctor, you can go to another doctor for a second opinion.

I had very sharp pains that would come and go and only got worse as the day went by; by the end of the day I was in the hospital. My symptoms were sharp reoccuring pains, felt like I had to vomit, just terribel worse than having a baby!!!!!!!Thank GOD I make it thru...I took 3 diff med for 5-7days.
