I have always had some intermittant shakiness in my left hand, but recently it has gotten much worse and is more or less constant. People have begun to comment on it, which is a little embarrassing. Does anyone know what this could be?

  • Depends on your age and other symptoms you might have ... when was the last time you had a complete exam by a doctor? I would suggest one and if you get a diagnosis, get a second opinion. And get copies of all your tests and keep track of them.

  • It could be an essential tremor which is nothing to be concerned about. They also have tablets for these to prevent the tremor. Is any other part of your body shaking sometimes? e.g. your head? I would go to the doctors and have this checked out to be sure.
