I am a 30 year old male. Near if not morbidly obese (6-4 399 pounds) and been having some issues for the last month or so.
About a month ago I got a wave of nervousness over me. My left hand became weakish and I began to tremble. It lasted a couple hours and for the next two days it happened again. This has not happened before (I have had anxiety just nothing like this over nothing) and I have been taking 200 mg of Zoloft for 8 years. Around this time my pharmacy changed from one brand of generic Zoloft to another so I figured this is the problem so I went to doctor to get another perscription and filled my old brand. Since then it has not gone away. The last two days the weakness seemed to have spread to my right arm too. I am noticing jolts when moving my mouse around...
It seems to come out of nowhere and can last 1-6 hours. Symptoms are
Really tense muscles in neck and shoulder
Weakness in left arm now both arms
Went to Doctor and he said it is prob just stress and tested my blood sugar levels which are fine. The do not have a normal family doctor so I have to go to what is called Medicentres here which have overworked doctors who see you for like 30 seconds and I have to wait 3+ hours to see them.
Anyone have any ideas on what is going wrong with me? Maybe of a opinon you have of what I can tell a doctor I think it is or what to test for?
