My boyfriend is 24 years old and was diagnosed with Celiac Disease four years ago when he ended up in the emergency room multiple times with severe stomach pain, diarrhea, profuse sweating, and paling of the skin. Since then we have been on a strict gluten free diet, however he is still having “attacks” of severe stomach pain at the belly button accompanied by diarrhea, sweating and he gets really pale. When he first started having these “attacks” they were infrequent, however over the last four years they have gotten very frequent... sometimes every day for weeks. We've seen several specialist and hundreds of tests and they can't figure out what it is. They say it is not his gallbladder, not his appendix, not an allergy to milk or lactose intolerance, we are very very careful with not having any gluten in our house and bought all new dishes, pots, pans and a grill when he was diagnosed. It seems to get worse if he exerts himself. If anyone has any ideas it would be very much appreciated. It has gotten so bad he hasn't been able to work lately and we really want to get on with our lives and get married, start our careers etc. Please help!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
