I have been suffering from pain in my stomach from last four months ,intially it was onthe right side just below the right rib inclined towards the backbone ,after ultra sound ,endioscopy of the stomach and MRI of the back ,nothing was detected. After a month or so the pain was shifted to left side of the stomach and then in the cetre and below the navel. After repeated ultra sound fluid in the same region (with empty bladder)was detected ,the fluid was extracted for testing - I was on empty stomach and empty bladder.ADA test is negative and they are waiting for MTB DNA PCR test report. In the meantime ,I am having slow fever inthe evening ,I ampassing motions 4-5 times a day and unable to hold my urine - the intensity of the pain has also increased manifold. They are suspecting tb of the abdoman.Could it be something else? what medicines should be prescribed - anyother tests required ?Please help. The ct scan has also detcted hardening of omentum.

  • It is absolutely wrong that someone is going to die from abdominal TB. I have suffered from the same and recovered fully after a surgery. TB (any form) is fully curable.
