I am 62 years old. For about 14 years I was in a job where I had to travel 150 Kms daily by bus. For about last 10 years I was feeling burning sensation/pain in my soles and toes causing problem in walking. During the travel it was troublesome to rest the feet on floor. If legs are folded or kept on resting at seat level or above then
relief was felt. In the beginning the frequency of burning sensation & pain was very less. But for last two years the frequency and intensity has increased. Even 6 months earlier I was able to perform 6Kms morning walk daily without any problem.
But now due to burning sensation & pain in soles and toes I am unable to go for morning walk. Now I also feel heaviness in feet with burning sensation while sleeping which was not felt earlier. There are also some light colored red and black spots on my legs.
I have tried allopathic, Homeopathy and acupressure treatments but in void.

Please Help me someone!!!

  • I have a similar problem. The top of my foot burns along with my 2nd and 3rd toes. Pain comes and goes but the burning sensation is worse than the pain that accompanies. It's worse when walking around the track and better when barefooted. I have slight numbess and tingling in that foot in the mornings also.My DR. told me I had hammer toe and to wear loose fitting shoes. That doesn't seem to help though and I'm wondering if there's an underlying problem. After walking that particular leg feels heavy.
