When I was pregnant I was diagnosed with hyperemesis, uncontrollable nausea and vomitting. For the 2nd and 3rd trimester I ended up in the hospital at least 2 times a month. I was eventually induced 6 weeks early due to preeclampsia and H.E.L.P. My beautiful daughter is doing wonderful; I am still sick as a dog. I am nauseous 24/7 and vomit at least once a day. I was diagnosed with severe post partum depression and told it is all in my head. I think it is crazy; no one would make themselves this sick. I am on phenergan and colonopin and though they sometimes seem to ease the symptoms , I am still pretty much in bed 24 hours a day. I am weak, tired, dizzy and sometimes black out. I can't take care of my daughter or function as an adult and I think that is wht is depressing me, not the other way around. Now I am trying to find the best gastroenteroligist in the country but am having a really difficult time with that as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
