34 yr old male, works out regulary. About 3 weeks ago i noticed some pain in my right knee when needing to bend it. Had the problem before so didnt worry me, I knew just to rest it. Well prior to the severe pain where im at now I did notice the discomfort in my knee starting feeling almost how a paper cut feels, slight burning and itching but nothing to bad. Now this past week I really didnt have any problems after resting it, but after a recent exercise which it wasnt a leg besides routine stretches, is when ***l has descended upon on my knee. If I sit for a period of time, bent or leg straight, it gets a stiff aching pain. Sometimes it sends the pain all the way down to the shin bone. The only way to relieve the pain is too slowly get up, which sometimes produces a pop and can feel movement in my knee, and walk it off. It seems that as long as im standing or walking the pain subsides. The worse of the pain is at night. It will happen about every hour on the hour. Sometimes I get up and try massaging around the knee cap which helps a lil but have learned I really cant put too much pressure on it like a wrap or anything cause it makes it worse. Recently after massaging I did notice that right above the knee cap that the muscle is bruised to the touch. Any help would be great cause cant see the doc for another 3 days and have gotten only 8 hrs sleep in 4 days now.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
