I am a fifteen-year-old female. I am not sexually active. Since about 4 months ago, I have been having severe stabbing in the right upper quadrant of my abdomen. I also bruise easily and my gums bleed whenever I brush my teeth. My pediatrician thought my gallbladder was failing, so she sent me to the local ER. There, they performed a chest x-ray and a CT scan. The x-ray showed nothing wrong, and the CT scan showed some fluids in my abdomen, which the doctors said were from a ruptured ovarian cyst. The pain persists, and the ER doctors sent me to the children's hospital. There, I have had a blood test (which came up normal) and an ultrasound, and the only things they found were a few splotches on my liver. I have had diarhhea almost daily, and I'm really irregular with my periods (I'm usually every 3 weeks, but now it's been 6 since my last one.) I also have a lump protruding form the right upper quadrant of my abdomen, and mid-upper ab is really tender. I also had a stool test, which showed up normal as well. I' scheduled for a colonoscopy/endoscopy in March (6 months away) and I would really like to know what is wrong with me before then. It has gotten to the point where I just want to die to make the pain stop. I am on Prevacid twice daily. I really just want to know what is wrong with me. Please please please help!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
