For the past seven years I started haveing pain in my back area. They did diagnosis me with a bulging disk in my Thorasic area. Now the pain has moved to my legs with such pain I can't function. Doctors say I have fibromyalgia and that is whats causing the pain. I do have to say my back really does not hurt like in the past. I have gone to homeopathic care centers and have gotten some relief but it is short term. Gone to Pain managment clinics, even got epideral shots in my back with no help. I have no life, I have no where else to turn.

  • Please consider acupuncture to treat your pain. It is very helpful! As this is a chronic condition there is no quick fix and you need to see one for 2-3 months at a minimum...many people find improvement after only one treatment, but it doesn't last. After several more treatments you should find 1. the severity of pain has decreased and 2. the length of time you are in pain decreased. To find an acupuncturist near you please go to www.acufinder.com and type in your zip code. Hope this helps.Doctor of Oriental Medicine
