I have had this conflicting throat problem for over 11 months, I have seen many doctors and none of them can seem to find out what is wrong, every one of the doctors say that my throat is completely fine, but this condition has complicated my breathing, swallowing, speaking, and sleeping. Please take the time to read the following, as this will be a long and detailed explanation with related conditions and links connecting to symptoms.

(PREFACE; as I do not know if this has anything to do with the current issues and symptoms)
-I somehow received a severe cold, the only symptom was a sore throat, but for some reason, this sore throat was the most painful thing I had ever felt, I literally have never been in so much pain. I could not swallow because if I did it caused even more pain, It hurt so much that I was crying in agony. I have been sick many times like anyone else, but I emplore you that this was something I had never experienced, the pain was beyond anything I had ever felt before. I woke up in this state, and was only awake for 2 to 3 hours before I decided that I needed to get help. I went to do the doctors and they gave me a shot of penicillin. They also gave me antibiotics. The very painful sensation in my throat went down a little, but I was still in serious pain for the next couple days. the next couple days continued, and about 3 days after, my throat felt better. I, unfortunately, did NOT finish the antibiotics. For the next, approximately, 2 or 3 months, my throat was completely fine, there was no issues at all with it.-

One day, I was with my friend, and we were about to smoke marijuana. I am an advent smoker and have been for many years. I smoked some, and this is when the problems began to incur. I took a drink of water and swallowed, as I swallowed -bear with me on this part- it felt like a part of my throat, around the adams apple area, was ripped off, or somehow broke off. I literally felt a chunk of something inside my throat, break off and slide down my throat into my chest area. My throat then began PULSATING and getting NUMB and TINGLING. I also felt a somewhat liquid sensation in my throat, like something was POPPING and there was also a sensation of WARM LIQUID going from my throat into my chest/stomache area. I started freaking out asking my friends if they saw anything wierd happening with my throat, they said nothing was wrong. I was instantly thrown into a PANIC ATTACK, and it became very hard to breathe (hyperventilating) or focus on anything, I felt like I was dying or something. I told my friends to call 911 but they didnt think anything was wrong so they just took me home. I sat in bed for hours experiencing this harsh pulsating, tingling, numbness sensation through my throat, and somewhat chest area, I didnt know what to do so I just tried going to sleep. I went to the bathroom to examine my throat and things became worse.

as I was looking in the mirror to check things out, I could literally see my throat MOVING and THROBBING. my adams apple was moving from side to side and when I swallowed it would go from the bottom of my throat to the top in a very abnormal way.

When this isnt happening to my throat, its just feels very TIGHT and becomes SENSITIVE in different areas. When the pulsating/tingling isnt happening, this is, and when I am in this state, it causes some pain as I turn my head side to side and up and down. Also, for example, in this state, whenever I do have to swallow, I have to lift my head up to do so. When I dont, and just swallow with my head in a different position, or just straight and parallel to the ground, it feels that my throat (the part that moves as you swallow) RUNS OVER a lump, and I feel a clank inside my throat, causing a very unsettling sensation in my throat. When i lift my head and swallow, this does not happen.

This happened progessively for a couple months randomly, specifically when I smoked, so I immediately stopped smoking anything and everything. anytime I was around any kind of smoke, it caused large amounts of pain in my throat and caused me to panic as well. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life, as I have been smoking cigarettes and marijuana for quite some time and never had a problem like this.

As this was happening, I somehow developed lumps in my throat, specifically one right under my adams apple that everyone can see, there are also some under my chin, and it feels like there are some near the bottom of my throat chest area.

Also, as all of this was happening, I developed ears and hearing problems. It felt like there is a lot of pressure on my ears and inside of them too. Sometimes its so bad that I cannot hear anything from one of my ears, and it switches from my left to right on different days.

It took about 4 months to go to a doctor to get things sorted out because I wasnt on insurance at the time and my parents did not believe there was anything wrong. There was a night when the pulsating was happening and I told them I needed to go to the hospital, but they said it was pointless. When you looked down my throat durring the pulsating/tingling period, you could see little balls severly swelling up on my uvula, tonsils, and bottom of my throat, these little balls looked like they were about to explode, like they were constricted or something.

For the following 4, or so, months, I had seen 4 different doctors, 2 of them ENT specialist. I have gotten countless bloodwork and have had (sorry for not knowing the name of the instruments doctors use for this sort of thing) the scope-thing for your nose/throat shoved up there countless times. Each time they search for something with the scope, they dont find anything wrong whatsoever, saying that everything checks out normal. Them using the scope on me nose/throat also caused a severe amount of pain. Also, when they checked my ears, using whatever tools they did, they used something to poke at it, it also caused a severe amount of pain. This made the process of getting my throat checked out very difficult. The numerous amounts of bloodwork were no big deal, besides having to do it so many times. The only GUESS that the doctors could give was that its either cancer, lymphoma or something related to it. I also have gotten CT Scans, the scans show some abnormalities, such as the lumps, but they are hardly noticeable on the scans and the doctors say its nothing to worry about.

Every doctor thinks that there is nothing wrong, and everyone thinks that my condition is nothing to be concerned about. I have taken the time to do as much research as possible and can barely find anything relating to this.

A post on this website is related to my symptoms which can be found here
http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=29061

and another experiencing the same problems
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Thyroid-Disorders/Pulsating-Throat/show/689799

The reason I post these is because I keep finding post relating to my symptoms, but not all of them, and everytime I try to find an answer as to how to fix my condition, no one or anything seems to have a direct answer

There is also something I found on the following link
http://health.yahoo.com/skinconditions-overview/swollen-glands-and-other-lumps-under-the-skin/healthwise--lumps.html

-the link above describes many different throat or skin issues, but if you decide to review it, there are questions near the bottom that ask the following....

1.Do you have a soft lump that does not go away, or gets bigger when your press it or cough?
2.Do you have a lump of swollen gland in your throat?
3. Do you have a lump of swollen gland that is not painful but tender?
etc, etc, etc

To include more information, as I do not know this will help or not;
I suffer from bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety, all of which are severe symptoms that I have had for many years, and have gradually been getting worse. I do take a lot of medication for many of these things to deal with it all.

for the following couple months to present day, I have not received the pulsating sensation. However, for awhile now, my throat is very tender and sensitive. Again, it is still in a state where it complicates my breathing, swallowing, sleeping, and speaking. For the past 11 months, my life has become a serious conflict because of this condition. Words can hardly explain the frustration this has brought on my life; espcially with NO ONE, even DOCTORS, not having a simple answer as to what is wrong with my and what I need to do to fix my condition.

What the ***l is wrong with me?! Why did this happen in the first place?! Why is my throat still in this condition?! Why is it that no one has an answer as to what is exactly wrong with me?! Am I ever going to get this fixed?! What do I need to do?!

Thank you for reading, and please, any help would be greatly appreciated. again, I have been living with this for some time now, and it is seriously affecting my daily life. I really need to get this issues resolved, and quickly. Again, thank you for taking the time to read this, I know it is very long and drawn out, but I needed to explain everything for anyone to grasp the concept. And thank you for any help that any one of you can provide, with proper advice and treatment, you will be saving my life from this conflict
