Serious issue getting worse

Symptoms in order:

Ear-ache in both ears. That went away, then

Periodic numbness in both arms. That went away, then

Swelling and pain in upper neck, head, both ankles. That did not go away.

Popping sounds in neck, sounds like rice krispies, tinitus, gets worse if I don't maintain excellent neck/back posture.

Now the fun part. As I approach the phase of sleep where I would normally loose conciousness, I get a micro-jolt and wake up. I have not slept in 2 days. I can not get to sleep, not even with Excedrin PM. I am not in any pain otherwise, aside from both ankles being a little swollen.

I noticed other people had the first two symtoms around the same time I did. That would suggest to me something viral but could be coincidience and/or unrelated to this problem. I tried talking to doctors in ER but they were busy and just wanted me out. Trying to get an appointment is really hard but if I go without sleep for too many days I will go crazy.
