Hi,

If someone could help me I would really appreciate it. Last year I started having seizures and feeling nauseous. I started seeing a neurologist, had an MRI done and several EEG's which showed nothing. In March I started having upper abdominal pain in the middle. My doctor thought it might be an ulcer and I started taking nexium which didn't help with the pain...I was then put on prevacid which I am still on and is also not helping with the pain. I had a barium swallow done and an ultrasound which showed nothign and I am waiting to have an endoscope done. I haven't had a period in 5 months and my hormones have come back not normal. I've also been having a constant ringing noise in my ear and it feels like its full. My eye on the same side keeps twitching and I'm having head pain on the same side. I'm also seeing a ENT doctor right now who is sending me for another MRI and I'm waiting to see an endocrinologist. I've also been having a difficult time swallowing and have felt very nauseous and feel like I'm going to vomit. I've also lost my appetite.

  • How old are you? What are your eating habits? Vegetarian?Have you been on birth control pill?Have they run all the major blood panels? Any abnormalities? You may have a series of several things, here are some ideas too, Has anyone checked for TMJ (jaw joint damage -- can swell and cause migraines --migraines can cause seizures, nausea, and abd pain) The nerves that set for migraines in head also are attached to five nerves in abd area. That is what some some people have the nausea and vomiting etc. A certain type of seizure with migraines can affect swallowing. TMJ can swell and impact ear and sinuses. Easy way to tell is this cheap test. Stick fingers in both ears as far as can an slightly press upward. Open jaw. If fairly painful to ears and area, thats TMJ. If not painful, you have ruled that one out fairly cheaply. Eye twitching can be as simple as fatigue. But also since eye and head pain in the area with migraine. Know they did MRI. Did they look for obscure sinus infection. I had the eye twitching, headaches face swelling. They did catscan and MRI. Found nothing. A doctor ran a scope up my nose and found a very nasty sinus infection that no one ever caught. The stuff they cleaned out of the sphenoid cavity was something! If you have an infection maybe it is triggering the whole migraine cycle..... Good to follow up with the Endocrinologist if not pregnant.

  • Blaze, how in the blaze does everyone have cell phone or lyme? You are always looking for zebras first. Look for horses first and then zebras. Not everyone is a zebra....Now granted I agree there will be more issues in the future about cell phones. How about the city in Mossouri that announced 13 brain tumors on July 14th. Wonder what it will be. Children and adults have been hit. Even people that don't live there now...

  • I'm 24 and I am a vegetarian. I still have all of the same symptoms and still have no period. I've had multiple pregnancy tests done and all are negative. My doctor sent me for an ultrasound of my neck and thyroid which came back showing a cyst and an enlarged lymph node. She said it was nothing to worry about and for me to go back in 6 months to have another one done. I'm having my scope done tomorrow so hopefully that will show something. I'm now off of prevacid and put on another medication similar to it because the prevacid wasn't working. I've started getting pain in my knee and ankle that feels like a burning and throbbing pain.
