My eight year old son has had infrequent incidences (total 6-7) in the past 4 years. All tests done, EEG around 4 times repeated over the years, MRI and others are normal. Different doctors are of different opinions as to whether I should start the anti-epileptic medicines(Valparin) for 2-3 years. I'm confused and worried about the right course of action. Please help.

Please help. Its safe to administer Valporic acid at 10mg/kg. Its advise to Generalized tonic clonic seziures. Even its syrup form is also available for small children.
