I don't know what happened, I still am very confused about the whole incident. All I know was I was talking to my mom, having an extremely hard time to get all the words out. I must have stepped back into my room or something. Everything started to go kinda black.

Next thing I know, I'm waking up on my floor a minute later, trembling and shaking, faintly hearing my mom's voice calling me from the other room because I was being rude by not responding to what she was asking me.

For the next hour or so I was really confused and disoriented as to what had just happened. Kind of in a dreamlike state for a 10 or so minutes.

Can anyone tell me as to what might of happened?

  • I cannot tell you exactly what happened. However, I don't think it was a seizure (a classic one anyway). There are many types of seizures, but I'm pretty sure the one thing they all seem to have in common is that the person having them does not remember having them, making it unlikely you had a seizure. (But not impossible)However, this episode is definitely something you should be concerned about. It may have been as simple as low blood sugar, but it's important you see your doctor. Your hormonal levels could be off, indicating a thyroid problem. Definitely get a blood test to make sure everything's in the normal ranges. Also, if you're concerned about seizures, ask about an EEG.Until you find out what's wrong, be careful when driving etc... & good luck with everything.
