I'm still concerned.
For the past two years or so, I've had a firm knot about the size of a grape on the upper left side of my abdomen (it may have increased in size, it's hard to tell), just a couple inches below my ribcage. This was diagnosed as a lipoma by one doctor, though he didn't want to bother with a biopsy or blood work despite the fact I'd been having some pain in the area (though the knot itself doesn't hurt).
For the past 2-3 months, I've had a swelling in my neck on the left side of my trachea...it kind of feels similar. Firm, painless, moves a little when I press on it.
Should I worry about them? What about the chronic cough and the GI tract issues (mostly diarrhea, much to my dismay) I've had? I'm really frustrated that doctors seem so willing to dismiss me because of my age (or whatever), but it seems like too much of a coincidence to really be as trivial as these two doctors would like to think.
