My 14 year old daughter complains of seeing black and becomming dizzy after standing up. She says it lasts anywhere from 10 seconds - a minute and some times it causes her to loose her balance and fall. She says it happens almost everytime she stands up from laying in her bed. Could this be orthostatic hypotension or possibly postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome? Her resting heart rate is high-usually 90-even as high as 120. What do you think? Is it something to be worried about?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
