My wife is 33 yr old with no prior problems. Her only allergy known is to penicillin. It started almost 4 weeks ago the very night we returned home from a 7 day Caribbean cruise. She had no problems there but that night home she noticed a rash on her legs and butt. It does not itch. Next day it was gone but returned that night. This pattern continued with some nights worse than others. Antihistamines did nothing. Finally after covering almost her entire body her dr put her on steroids. Still all these Meds did nothing. After two weeks, she started developing terrible headaches, low grade fever, and chills. Initial blood tests are normal. Her doctor thinks it's a virus and she stopped all Meds. Week three she gets every day around 3-8p all the above symptoms but now woke up with very bad joint pain. Sed rate is normal but she hasn't had an ANA test yet. I'm very scared this is Lupus or some other autoimmune disease. Any ideas? Thank you all that apply.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
