I recently had surgery and obviously, left with a scar. Any advice one what I can do to help the scar heal well and leave its appearance as minimal as possible after all is done?

  • Keep the wound moist with antibiotic ointment all the time until it is completely healed, that will make the biggest difference. Also once you get your stitches out keep the steri-strips on there for as long as you can to keep the wound closed, that means try and keep water off of it if you can. Once it is healed there are various scar reducing treatments on the market but your guess is as good as mine if they will work to make the scar any less noticeable.
