  • CT is useful for some things, MRI is useful for somethings. In general, CT seems to be good finding certain types of tumors, and looking for changes to the brain (it's almost always used with stroke victims). MRI can be more useful in examining soft tissue masses and certain types of tumors, etc. While both of these tests are useful, they're not entire foolproof. If the radiologist can't read the film correctly, then the testing is useless. Also, sometimes there are abnormalities that just don't show up on imaging.

Sorry for the questions guys but i wanna see if i have theseHi Teddy,First you have to realize that almost everyone who gets scanned has accurate results. But people who get accurate results are not writing on these websites! People writing on the website for "WrongDiagnosis" are always the folks who aren't getting the answers they need.As for figuring out if you are having a memory problem, you can do this little quiz, and see what it says: http://psychologytoday.psychtests.com/cgi-bin/health/transfer_health.cgi?partner=pt&test=memory#hRegarding light sensitivity, even if you are, what is it you are concerned about? If you have suddenly become much more light sensitive than you used to be, you would know, and wouldn't need a test. If you are looking for a test to see if you are "average" it won't really tell you too much, because people are really different on that issue. What medical problem are you actually concerned about?Shula
